INTERACTIVE TECHNOLOGY FOR MATHS CLASSROOM

New strategy with modern technology in the classroom as a teaching method can improve students' current mathematics ability. Interactive technology in the Math’s classroom is used in the form of computers, calculators or educational software. The use of instructional educational software improves student performance in specific areas of mathematics and problem-solving skills. Technological tools can help the students gain a new understanding which includes the use of   computer and other devices in the classroom.
LCD projectors
This software is used for the introduction of the topic is projected onto chalkboard or whiteboard using the computer as a tool. Students have come to the front to attempt to solve the problem. The solution is revealed by the teacher and the software. This method of instruction is very useful in the classroom for instruction and teaching geometry with different diagrams.
Interactive whiteboard
It is simply a touch screen computer with a very large screen and sensitive pen to allow students and teachers to interact directly for review sessions. SMART is the company introduced the world`s first interactive white board in 1991. It is easy to use and interesting addition to classrooms. In an ‘e-teaching’ context an IWB is connected to the Internet the class can communicate and share learning experiences with the teacher or trainer.

Smart technology
SMART is software for educators to reach their goals of academic achievement and interactivity into the classroom. SMART Note book software gives teachers the tools they need to easily create and deliver lessons.
Graphing calculator
The graphing calculator allows students to draw shapes and plot points on the screen. The use of graphing calculators to handle memorizing formulas, substituting numbers in equations and other complicated calculation that can reduce the burden on students, so that students spend more time on understanding the applications of mathematics, which can stimulate their enthusiasm for learning  (Streun, Harskamp, & Suhre, 2000).
Computers
Computers can be used to present internet resources from around the world in the mathematics classroom. They can be used to practice math skills on websites with Mathematics Virtual Library. Computer technologies are empowering students to formulate, test, and support through web-based communication. Many website and educational software providing mathematics internet games for Math’s education. Students learn actively and game based learning with computers raise their learning motivation. Teachers can use on-line navigation system software and keypads to quiz the students in class.

IPods
IPods the small devices can be used by the students to create flashcards, educational videos and access to learning materials to learn difficult concepts in Mathematics.
Math software:
There is many Maths software which can be freely used, copied, studied, modified, and redistributed by everyone that obtains a copy.
Axiom: Axiom is a free, general-purpose computer algebra  system. In Axiom, all objects have a type. Examples of types are mathematical structures such as rings, fields, polynomials. It features 'HyperDoc', an interactive browser-like help system, and can display two and three dimensional graphics, also providing interactive features like rotation and lighting.
GeoGebra : GeoGebra is dynamic geometry software intended for teachers and students. GeoGebra has the ability to use variables for numbers, vectors and points, find derivatives and integrals of functions and has a full complement of commands like Root or Extremum.
Graph-tool  : graph-tool is an efficient  module for manipulation and statistical analysis of graphs.
Sage : Sage is mathematical software  with features covering many aspects of mathematics, including algebra, combinatorics, numerical mathematics, number theory and calculus.
Applets:
It is web-based, interactive applications that can be used to promote instruction with small groups or in whole class.  Math applets are designed to teach students particular mathematical concept with animations, multimedia presentations and with instant feedback on mistakes.
Teach math and provide an interactive or multimedia interface to help demonstrate a particular idea or give students practice using the concept."What the technology can do is track the different approaches students are taking and give them guidance," says Ken Koedinger, director of the Pittsburgh Science of Learning Center,
